We are continuing to adapt to these changed circumstances, finding fresh ways to be faithful to what has been entrusted to us. On Saturday, March 28, all are strongly encouraged to pray the Vespers service, which we have available on our website with all needed texts. We also have the opportunity to pray it together online at 5:00 on Saturday.
On Sunday, March 29, we all have the responsibility to pray in our homes—we can use the Typica Service provided below. All are invited to participate at 9:30 AM on Sunday in the online gathering to pray together.
Fr. John Hopko of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church, Terryville, and Dean of the Connecticut Deanery, has shared these prayer services for home use.
- Daily Lenten Vespers for Home Use
- Typica Service in place of Divine Liturgy
- The Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos
Please make use of these in each of your homes. In addition, we are planning to record services once again in the Mosher house for Saturday Vespers and Sunday morning prayer (we will use the Typica Service above for that purpose). Our first recordings are shared on our website under Parish Media.
We are also working on the ability to stream services and other worthy online gatherings. Our first offering is a celebration of the Annunciation on Wed., March 25, at 6 PM. See our announcement for details.
Please this share message with anyone who might appreciate it. We need to be looking out for neighbors and friends who need support and encouragement. Remember, you can sign up for Parish News at our website: <sspeterpaul.org/contact>.
