We now welcome up to 40 participants at each Divine Liturgy. We also continue to host our Sunday morning worship online, just from the temple of SS. Peter & Paul. Other services, like Saturday evening Great Vespers, will be hosted from home. We continue to use the following details to connect:

Weekend of Aug. 2
Eighth Sunday after Pentecost:
On Saturday, at 5:00, we will have an online gathering to celebrate Great Vespers at home. A booklet of the service is available as a PDF.
On Sunday, at 9:30, online participants can follow the Divine Liturgy as it is celebrated in our temple. Our weekly bulletin, with service texts proper to the day, is available as a PDF. (Please note that no printed bulletins nor service books are currently being offered—you are welcome to print and bring your own.)

All of these services use the connection information posted at the top of the page.

We have also been making recordings of recent prayer services, which are shared on our website under Parish Media.

Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord

At the Transfiguration, our Lord Jesus Christ took the disciples Peter, James and John to Mount Tabor and there manifested his divine glory to them, as far as they could bear it. The disciples saw Moses and Elijah standing with the Lord, and they heard the voice of the Father saying, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.” By this sign, the disciples would come to understand that the Lord suffered and died voluntarily, for our sake. We bless fruit (and veggies!) at this feast: if you would like to bring your own, keep it with you in your place, and we will bless it all following the liturgy.

Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 5 PM: Great Vespers at Home. A service booklet will be available soon.

Thursday, Aug. 6, at 9:30 AM: Divine Liturgy. All are welcome to participate, whether attending in person or online, following the usual procedures.
