John Herbert, a long-time parishioner who devotedly served the church in many ways over the years, fell asleep in the Lord this Sunday morning. We are adapting to the challenges of COVID with the following funeral plans: 4-7 PM on Friday, Sept. 25: visiting at SS. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, with a Panikhida at 6 PM. 10 AM on Saturday, Sept. 26: Funeral Service at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery on Westfield Rd, Meriden. There will be no funeral services at the church. 

All visitors to SS. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church are expected to follow the COVID guidelines posted here on on our website. The one major change from attending Sunday services is that we will not be requiring advance registration. Instead, Ferry's Funeral Home will be managing the entrance to our church, to ensure that we do not exceed our maximum capacity of 50 people.
