Informational Meeting on Proposed Parish Bylaws

The Parish Council has submitted a proposed revision of the Parish Bylaws. The draft is the culmination of years of discussion, review and revision, and we believe it is worthy of your support.

All current Voting Members (those adults who have participated in the Mysteries of Confession and Communion during Lent and Pascha this year, who have submitted a pledge form for 2022 and have been faithfully supporting the parish) have received a packet of materials presenting the proposed new Parish Bylaws. We will be holding a non-voting Informational Parish Meeting on Sunday, May 15, to review and discuss the proposed Bylaws. We welcome your considered questions and comments.

For those unable to attend in person, we encourage you to participate via this Zoom link.

After the meeting concludes, each Voting Member will receive a ballot—those in attendance will be issued their ballot, while the rest will receive them in the mail. Please prayerfully and promptly submit your vote by making a single selection: "Yes, I approve of the Bylaws Revisions as prepared" or "No, I do not approve of the Bylaws Revisions as prepared." To complete your ballot, you will need to carefully print your name and then sign the ballot—only signed ballots from current Voting Members will be counted.

The deadline to vote is June 6. All ballots received will be counted on June 9 by Fr. Joshua Mosher, Parish Council President Donna Leonowich and Chairperson of the Trustees. While we will be checking signatures against our list of Voting Members, all will be done in strict confidence. The results of the vote will be announced on Holy Pentecost, June 12.
